past 30 years
- Participant in the National Interfaith Leadership
Project sponsored by the NCCJ (National Conference for
Community and Justice; then National Conference of Christians and
Jews), bringing together 40 people of various traditions from across
the
U.S. for training in interreligious work
- 20-year member of
the Fellowship of Reconciliation, an interfaith coalition for
nonviolence, peace and justice

Ph.D. in Psychology and Biblical Studies
from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley
Author of Psychological Biblical Criticism (Fortress
Press 2001), as well as several articles on psychology
and the Bible, including "’The
Bible Made Me Do It:’ Text,
Interpretation and Violence." in J. Harold Ellens,
ed., The
Destructive Power of Religion (Praeger, 2004).
Taught
psychology and spirituality in the Counseling Psychology
Program at Holy Names College in Oakland, the Pastoral
Ministries Program at Santa Clara University and the
Institute for Leadership in Ministry of the Diocese of
San Jose. Dr. Kille has lived in San Jose for over 30 years.
